Laura Klein

Laura is the author of Build Better Products and UX for Lean Startups. With over 20 years of tech experience and vast expertise in Product Management, User Experience Design, she helps companies innovate responsibly and improve product development processes. Laura is currently the Principal at User Know. She consults, coaches, trains, and advises companies to develop better products through Product Management, user research, and user experience design. Before this, Laura was a Faculty at Lean Startup Co., an educational company teaching the principles popularized in Eric Ries's book, The Lean Startup. She coached teams in large organizations trying to become more innovative and agile. At Business Talent Group, she was the VP of Product and led an agile engineering team to create a digital platform to transform the internal processes and scale the business. Laura had other product roles as Mentor, Instructor, Director of Product, Software Developer, Marketing & Web Specialist. Laura is also a Podcaster of What is Wrong With UX; with a friend, she drinks and talks about what is wrong with user experience design. She holds a Bachelor's in Political Science from the Stanford University.
