Lori Yurika Riser

In her role leading Product Marketing for the WhatsApp Business App at Meta, Lori Yurika Riser stands at the forefront of pioneering zero-to-one initiatives to monetize WhatsApp, shaping the landscape for over 200 million businesses to effectively communicate with 2 billion+ monthly active users. As a bilingual and multicultural marketing leader with over 12 years of experience in product marketing and strategy, Lori brings a global perspective and customer-centric approach to product development. She is passionate about bringing innovative products and services to market by crafting compelling brand narratives that transcend geographic and cultural boundaries. 


During her time at WhatsApp, Lori led the successful launch of Premium subscription and Marketing Messages, pivotal features for defining the trajectory of WhatsApp Business. She is also the leader of the Japanese@Meta employee resource group, where she oversees programming and partnerships to drive Asian & Pacific Islander (API) inclusion and community for Meta. Prior to joining Meta, Lori served as a Global Product Marketing Manager at PayPal and also worked in Tokyo for several years in finance and consulting. Lori earned her MBA from the Yale School of Management and holds degrees in International Economics and Japanese from UCLA.
