Martie Burris is a creative who enjoys building products that improve people’s lives. She specializes in 0 to 100 Products, organizing chaos, and empowering Product teams and has experience in Technology Consulting. When Martie isn’t working, she uses her experience to educate and create space for others. In 2018, she started a coaching initiative called FoldingChair, through her initiative she’s helped 25+ “coachees” from underserved backgrounds find their first or second roles in Product.
Currently, Martie is a Director of Product Management at Salesforce, working on strategies to integrate Salesforce and Slack. Additionally, she created a data-driven Product strategy and long term roadmap for Heroku Elements Marketplace (42% revenue growth in year one), develops the GTM strategies and partner programs for the Americas, Europe, and Japan, and grew strategic partnerships between Heroku and 3rd party add-on partners 22%.
Prior to Martie’s current role, she was a Product Manager at Workday, where she teamed with Customers, UX Designers, and Engineers to build flexible global financial products for the resource management and professional services industry. Notably, she was a two-time winner of the X-Team Award for Product and has features listed in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant.
