Matthew has over a decade of experience in Media, Sports Entertainment, and has delivered entertainment Products to consumers around the world. Currently, he’s a Product Manager at Google, responsible for guiding Products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting and tailoring their solutions to all the markets where Google does business. Matthew also has extensive collaboration with a number of researchers, advocates, designers, engineers, marketers, UX engineers, etc to get them working towards a single goal and driving leadership through it. Prior to his current role, Matthew was a Senior Product Manager for the Yahoo Weather, News Digest and flagship Yahoo! mobile apps. He began his career as a Product Leader at Scotiaback, then, after nearly 5 years he went on to be a Senior Product Manager at Pivitol Labs. While there, Matthew lead various teams to ensure that projects are executed and delivered on time and on budget, developed a successful strategy that begins and ends with the customer, and worked closely with stakeholders to understand, assess and ultimately developed a strategy that intelligently creates a path to success. Matthew’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
