Merwan Hade

Merwan Hade is a Product Management Director at Slack, working hard to help builders and developers take full advantage of the platform in order to create impactful apps. Before this role, he was Director of Product Management at Quip. During his two years with the company, he created their Salesforce Anywhere Mobile vision strategy, filed four patents, and won an impressive three company-wide hackathon competitions. Prior to that, he spent just under a year as Director of Product Management at Salesforce. He also spent over six years working at Microsoft, in various PM roles focused on Azure Tools Visual Studio, Microsoft PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow.

Merwan earned his Bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. During his studies he worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, creating scientific visualizations and custom codes for data analytics. He also recently completed his MBA at the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business.
