Monica Silva

Monica is a seasoned international Product Manager who is passionate about innovation, tech, and brands. During 12 years of her lucrative career, she has been leading teams with a common goal, in a sustainable way, building the market leadership and creating social impact.Her professional work has taken her around the world: from Lisbon, Portugal, across Canada, ultimately to Berlin, Germany, where she is currently based. Throughout the course of her career, Monica has worn many hats; apart from her extensive experience in Product, she also held positions in business development, project management, consultancy and eventually tried her hand at entrepreneurship. Today, she is leading the company’s efforts as a Product Manager at Schindler Group. Prior to her current role, she has spent over 4 years at GS1 Canada, managing innovative supply chain products and services to enhance the Canadian organization's efficiency and cost-effectiveness. She earned a BSc in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering and a Master’s degree in Systems & Communications Engineering, both from ISEL Superior Engineering Institute of Lisbon, and also holds a post-degree in Marketing and International Business from IADE Creative University. Monica is a thought leader who inspires others to take initiative while demonstrating an unwavering commitment to furthering her own product portfolio.
