Nakul Raj

Nakul Raj is an experienced Product Owner with a demonstrated history of working on innovative blockchain solutions. Today, he is a Blockchain Product Owner at Northern Block, a blockchain product venture firm focused on creating next generation decentralized solutions.

Nakul has graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Technology. While enrolled at university, he has been actively involved as a Web Developer in Ryerson Formula Racing at Ryerson University, an engineering-led student team that designs and manufactures a formula-style racing car to compete in Formula Society of Automotive Engineers events around the world. Parallel to his studies, Nakul started off his career in tech as a Business Technology Manager and Business Developer. Shortly after, he became Project Delivery Officer and Scrum Master at CGI.

Upon graduation, he took up the position of Product Owner at Northern Block at their location in Toronto, Canada, progressively attaining the role in various areas, from Blockchain Enabled Logistics Solution, Titan Suite Smart Contract Development Toolkit, to currently Blockchain Remittance Service. Nakul is also a certified Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner.

An avid speaker, Nakul also enjoys giving talks to help inspire the next generation of Product Managers to create innovative products and apply best practices in their work.
