Nathan Mass is an experienced Product Leader with a track record of delivering successful products in the B2B and B2C software industry. He currently serves as the Director of Product Management at Headspace where he manages a team of product managers and leads key companywide agile processes. Since May 2022, he has overseen the Ginger and Headspace platform unification and product synergies, leading to a harmonious Headspace Health experience. Nathan introduced new product and project management processes to increase stakeholder awareness and use case coverage, and to expedite development.
Prior to his current role, Nathan was a Senior Product Manager at Hulu for nearly three years. During his tenure, he was responsible for optimizing and scaling Disney's marketing platform across all portfolio streaming services to effectively manage 100mm+ daily communications, which resulted in key product initiatives with a revenue impact of $10mm+. He collaborated with data scientists to craft robust data systems and solutions to integrate ML-driven personalization and recommendation models to enable dynamic marketing strategies. Nathan defined strategy and roadmaps for products with significant revenue impact on Hulu/Disney's growth, consistently shipping complex solutions with multiple engineering teams and dependencies.
Before joining Hulu, Nathan held Product Manager positions at Samba TV and RockYou. He was also a Growth and Data Analyst at Postmates. As a Product Manager, Nathan was easily one of the most patient and focused Product Managers on the team and did an excellent job at execution. He is a skilled product leader with expertise in go-to-market strategy, data products, B2B software, team management, product requirements, business metrics, product road mapping, and product strategy. Nathan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and International Relations from Stanford University.
