Richa has 15+ years of hands-on experience building strategy and operations for customer growth, engagement and retention programs at startups, as well as, global corporations. She has deep expertise in marketplaces, eCommerce, online, email and direct marketing powered by strong program management, test design and measurement, product and business analytics. Richa also has experience leading global projects with cross-functional teams: product, engineering, user experience research, analytics, finance, operations across geographies, and influencing various levels of management. She’s skilled in SQL, python, advanced analytics, database design, data warehousing, reporting tools, ESP campaign management, and has a strong analytical aptitude, communication and problem-solving skills, results and data-driven, action-oriented, passionate about innovation, creativity, team building, and people management. Currently, Richa works at Upwork as Senior Director of Growth, having dual responsibility for leading the vision, strategy and operations for the CRM team as well as a formative member of the new cross-functional Growth Team. Charter includes building innovative growth programs for activation, engagement, retention and reactivation using rigorous A/B testing to drive measurable impact. Responsible for connecting product value to users by identifying new and existing growth loops in a product as well as via marketing channels. Prior to Richa’s current role, she was Senior CRM Marketing Manager of New Buyer Engagement at eBay. Her educational background includes a Master in Business Administration in Management Informations Systems from Wright State University and a Professional Certification in Strategic Decision and Risk Management from Stanford University.
