Rute Costa

Rute Costa is a Senior Head of Product at FARFETCH, the global eCommerce platform for Luxury products. She studied Economics in Lisbon/ Portugal and became passionate about Technology during college when a friend introduced her to Internet applications. She started her career in Consultancy when Internet growth was booming at the beginning of the century, more than twenty years ago. She worked in multiple sectors such as telco, media, travel, and recently retail of Luxury products.

Rute has experience both in platform and UX products across several devices: desktop, mobile and other connected devices such as TVs. Product practice and the internet have always been the common denominator in her career. When she is not doing Product, she loves traveling, doing sports, reading, playing board games, and spending time with her two kids and making them grow in the tech world!
