Saikat Banerjee

Saikat Banerjee is an Amazon (AWS) Engineering Leader working on innovating EC2 Enterprise tech with developer tools and open-source software. He joined Amazon after completing his Master of Engineering in Supply Chain Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During his studies, he built a thesis to create a closed-loop supply chain for plastic recycling within the eCommerce marketplace. He also worked on a renewable energy strategy as a Graduate Project Researcher at Wayfair.

Prior to that, Saikat lent his talents as an Engineering Manager at Tesco, a Software Development Engineer at Electronic Arts (EA), and a Senior Consultant at PwC. He also dabbled in the entrepreneurial world, co-founding his own company, RateMonk. Saikat started his tech career working as a Summer Intern at HP.

In addition to his Master's from MIT, Saikat also holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology. He also completed an Executive Program in Finance through the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
