Sathish is passionate about bringing together and working with cross-functional teams in order to solve challenges. He is currently working as a Senior Product Manager for Amazon Transcribe at AWS. His first product role at the company was working on Core Compute Instances as a Senior Product Manager. Before joining the Product team, he spent a year as a Senior Financial Analyst where he managed financial planning and analysis for Amazon's $24 billion consumables business.
Before joining the Amazon team, he spent time as an MBA Product Planning Intern at Dell. He was a part of the teams that were building a competitive landscape of 25 products to look for spaces that the company should engage in for more growth and success. He also spent time in REI's Supply Chain division searching for key opportunities for the team to pursue that would support their long-term vision.
Sathish also has a strong background as an Engineer. For seven years he worked at NVIDIA as a DFT Engineer and a Senior Hardware Engineer. After his time there he moved on to be part of the engineering team at Apple, working for over a year as a Senior Hardware Engineer. Immediately after joining the team he jumped right in and led a huge, cross-functional team to design and deliver 5M volume chips that were to be used in all of the next-generation iPhones and iPad.
Sathish has a strong educational background as well. He started off at the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras where he earned his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering. After graduating, he got to work on his Master's, attending The University of Texas at Austin. His focus was on Integrated Circuit Design and Engineering. A few years down the road he would further pursue his education at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis on Corporate Strategy and Technology.
