Head of Product Operations, Amplitude
Shintaro Matsui is the Head of Product Operations at Amplitude, a San Francisco-based analytics company, and a highly respected product management leader. With over eight years of experience in the tech industry, Shintaro has developed a wealth of knowledge and skills in strategic planning, product development, and team management.
Prior to joining Amplitude, Shintaro spent two years as the Head of Courier Experience at Uber, where he led the team responsible for improving the experience of delivery drivers. He also served as the Chief of Staff to the Head of US/Can Operations, managing a team of over 50 people. Before Uber, Shintaro worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, where he gained experience in management consulting across multiple locations including Toronto, New York, London, Stockholm, Montreal, and Brussels.
Shintaro holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Strategic Management and Information Systems from McGill University. He is fluent in English, and French, and speaks some Japanese as well. Shintaro has been recognized for his outstanding work, receiving the Office Leadership Award from Deloitte in 2017 and placing 2nd in a nationwide innovation contest after presenting in front of six consulting partners. Shintaro's extensive knowledge and experience make him a valuable asset to any product management team and a great product mind to learn from.
