Simon Tuddenham

Simon Tuddenham is a well-experienced leader and technology product professional with over 15 years of experience building products in retail and eCommerce. He is passionate about Product Management and has strong domain knowledge in the fashion and general merchandise sectors. He is an advocate of Agile methodologies, ensuring rapid delivery of game-changing customer experiences across all digital channels. He has a proven track record of leading high-performing global product teams, delivering customer-facing products.
At Emirates, Simon established and grew the Technical Product Management team from scratch, as part of the IT Digital Transformation. He had the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of 100 Product Managers and Owners, building core competencies, defining roles and structure, and implementing development frameworks. Previously, at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP, Simon led, shaped, and transformed the Platform Product team from 35 to more than 50 heads across locations in London and Bologna. He restructured, created a succession plan, and enhanced the operating model for Product, creating a world-class product team.
Simon also worked as a Product Management Consultant for the University of Surrey, where he established and grew their Product Management capability. He engaged the concept of Product Management across the organization and IT team, researched the Product Roadmap software market, and defined the roles of Product Owner and Product Manager.
Simon's focus is on end-to-end customer experience, with a combined knowledge of eCommerce and mobile front-end technologies. He seeks to instill a Product mindset with a focus on customer, value, and measurement while creating an identity for the team within the organization. Simon is a fair, honest, and transparent leader, always driving his teams to success with his creativity, solid frameworks, and mentorship.
