Simone Paul Tamussin

Simone is an accomplished Product Management Executive with over two decades of experience in the payments industry, specializing in driving product innovation and managing large-scale, complex projects. Having worked across multiple regions including Australia, India, the UK, Ireland, and the United States, Simone has consistently demonstrated the ability to deliver transformative results while fostering organizational change, building high-performing teams, and creating new business opportunities.

Currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at Mastercard’s Payment Gateway Services, Simone leads a global team of over 40 senior product leaders and manages a product roadmap that spans over 100 countries. With deep expertise in product strategy, people management, and innovation, Simone is responsible for overseeing a diverse range of payment solutions ensuring that Mastercard continues to stay at the forefront of the payments industry.

Simone has previously worked as a Product Lead for the FinTech companies Global Payments and Kalixa Payments Group. He also helped lead the extremely successful launch of the PayPal prepaid card during his two and a half years as the Italian Head of Financial Products and Consumer Platform.
