Sowmya Vemuri

Sowmya Vemuri is working in the New Products Organization at Amazon as a Senior Product Manager. She is currently building an innovative home-sensing product from scratch. She started working at Amazon in 2020 in their Seattle offices before joining her current team in California. Prior to that, she was a Senior PM at Dell EMC, developing their server and networking portfolio. Sowmya has also worked as a Strategy Consultant at TransUnion and as a Senior Product Analyst at Accenture.

Sowmya is a truly committed leader who brings together her strong technical knowledge and confidence to help guide her team to build better, ground-breaking products. She is a great asset to have when it comes time to buckle down and bring everyone together to solve tough problems. She is very dedicated to the Product Management profession which has earned her the respect of many of her peers. Sowmya holds a Master's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
