Steve Won

Steve Won is an accomplished product executive with over 15 years of experience scaling security and software solutions for global markets. Currently serving as an Executive Advisor at 1Password, he previously held the role of Chief Product Officer, where he led the company's strategy for Design, Product Management, and Partnerships, and launched the Extended Access Management category. Before joining 1Password, Steve served as VP of Product at Shogun, where he directed strategy for their Page Builder and Frontend Platform, successfully raising the company's Net Promoter Score (NPS) by 49 points and building a customer-centric product culture.

Prior to his executive roles, Steve was a key leader at Duo Security, joining as an early employee and eventually becoming the Head of Authentication Products. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving the company's passwordless strategy and supporting a 20x growth in revenue, continuing with the team through its acquisition by Cisco in 2018. A loyal user of 1Password since 2008, Steve combines deep user empathy with strategic rigor to build world-class security products. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
