Stephen is a data-driven Product Manager with experience building and leading cross-functional teams including product, growth marketing, design, user research, data, and analytics. Currently, he’s Senior Product Manager at Amazon Web Services, responsible for defining high-quality roadmaps based on team strategy and vision, developing detailed and crisp business requirements for product specifications and service architecture, managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance and operational support, and working closely with engineering teams, design, and program management in an agile environment to deliver products to market. Prior to his role at Amazon, Stephen worked at Carbon Health as Senior Director of Product and Growth, he owned Carbon's go to market strategy and execution, including building out the B2B sales funnel and was responsible for all aspects of digital marketing, including market positioning, paid acquisition and content marketing. His role included finding potential customers (doctors), pitching the product, and building partnerships. Stephen began his Product Management career at Stella & Dot, where he built a new eCommerce platform from the ground up, expanded the North American platform to the UK and Germany, and created an eCommerce tablet application for stylists to sell on the go. Stephen’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield, an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of California, and an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from London Business School.
