Terry Lin is a detail-oriented Product professional, passionate about user research and growth marketing. For each organization he leads, he brings his entrepreneurial insight and online marketing expertise into the world of eCommerce.
Terry began his professional work at Capital Campaigns, where he was responsible for fundraising and event marketing. His entrepreneurial mindset eventually led him to found his own venture as an SEO/SEM & Growth Marketing Consultant. Shortly after, he broke into Product and started attaining Product managerial positions across the sectors of nonprofit, computer software and venture capital. Today, Terry leads the company’s efforts at CB Insights; by fusing machine learning, visualizations, and algorithms, he leads cross-functional teams to generate data regarding growth, and competition along with the markets and technologies of the future, for clients such as Cisco, Salesforce and Castrol. Additionally, for over 3 years, he has been working on a SuperSymmetry project, as an electronic music producer and a DJ duo.
An avid volunteer, Terry has been actively involved in numerous animal welfare organizations, providing shelter, care, and compassion to homeless animals. He graduated from Whittier College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. In the future, Terry strives to continue developing his skills in tech while also educating others on how to build better software products.
