Venkat Medapati

Venkat was a Product Management Leader and Technology Professional with passion for creating innovative and scalable consumer Products. He has a strong background in Engineering, Business and Design, and can help lead Product initiatives through the full cycle from concept to launch and continued learning. Currently, Venkat is the Director of Product Management of Commerce Cloud at Salesforce. Prior to his current role, Venkat was a Senior Product Manager at eBay, where he launched the new visual shopping experience with image search on eBay apps, collaborated with Engineering, Operations, UX and Marketing to define the customer experience that combines machine learning capabilities with discovering the right products. Additionally, he revamped the Browse experience partnering with global business teams for curation, and built new features for Multi SKU products, content management and presentation on web; which led to increased engagement and discovery. Venkat was also Product Management Lead for Designer Collective, a new way to shop brands-direct on eBay, leading the global product launch in US, UK and DE -working closely with business, marketing, design, merchant integration, engineering, analytics and QE teams, and Lead Product Owner for Mobile app and Multi-screen browse experience. His educational background includes a Bachelor in Electronics and Communications and an MBA in Technology Management.
