Vidya Balasubramanian

Vidya is an Atlassian Senior Product Manager with a strong history of envisioning, building, and launching new innovative security, risk, and data analytics products. She makes the value proposition of cybersecurity and compliance simple to understand.

Before her current role, Vidya was a Senior Product Manager for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. She spent her time working on a highly resilient PaaS offering that used native cloud capabilities to deliver an end-to-end self-service value for a faster time to market for business data products. She also worked on Product Strategy for the company a few years before rejoining for this role.

Vidya has also worked as a Group Product Manager for Avaya's Customer Engagement Analytics Product and as a Product Manager for Visa. One of her earliest roles was as a BI Evangelist and Consultant for Oracle. She spent over six years in this role defining and developing strategies and solutions.

Vidya holds a Master's in Computer Science from American University. Her studies focused on Data Mining Techniques and Information Management Systems.
