Vivek is a seasoned Product leader, innovator, and entrepreneur with a passion for technology and a proven track record of success. His work has been featured on CNET, TechCrunch, Gizmodo, Buzzfeed, and other media outlets. Vivek brings over 18 years of experience to his position, having worked with large enterprises including IBM Global Services, Sony and today Amazon.
Prior to his Product role in Prime Video and Marketplace at Amazon, Vivek has held diverse roles during his extensive professional work as Software Engineering, Head of Engagement and Growth Analytics. His entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to co-found a company that builds technology solutions for the commercial cleaning industry. Under his leadership at Sony, his team strived to create business applications that enabled strategic decisions and improved workflows. At Groupon, he led an extraordinary team of Analysts to uncover insights that drove product strategy and enabled data-driven decisions.
In addition to his deep experience with building products that delight customers, Vivek specializes in quantitative research methods and has studied with pioneers in the field at the University of Michigan. Some of his current work is taught in MBA classes. He is a structured thinker with years of experience leading cross-functional teams and working across business and engineering teams to deliver impactful results.
Vivek earned an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Quantitative Marketing Research from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Technology from Nagpur University.
