Our top hotel recommendations for ProductCon San Francisco

This year, ProductCon San Francisco will be hosted at the SVN West,10 Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA 94103. With that in mind, all of our hotel recommendations are no more than a 10- minute drive from the ProductCon venue. Having said that, San Francisco is a small city, so don’t feel restricted to staying in the vicinity of the conference center if you prefer to explore– everything is just a short cab ride away!

Top Tip: A very large government conference is taking place the same week as San Francisco ProductCon. Book ASAP to secure your choice of hotel.

Hotel Kabuki

One of Product School’s absolute favorites, Hotel Kabuki is located in San Francisco’s Japantown a short 10-minute drive or half-hour walk from this year’s conference venue. The elegant 4-star hotel is connected to the Nihonmachi Mall and features on-site dining, fast WiFi, an on-site fitness center, and much more. In short, everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Hotel Zetta

Across the street from Westfield Shopping Center, the Zetta Hotel in Central San Francisco is another top pick. While located just a 10-minute walk from San Francisco's vibrant Union Square and the Moscone Center, this 4-star hotel’s cozy rooms and great amenities – including a seriously happening games room and onsite British brasserie – make it the perfect place to chill out after a busy day in the city.

San Francisco Proper

Located in a historic flatiron building in the heart of Market Street, San Francisco Proper Hotel, is another favorite of the Product School Team. Boasting several dining options and a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink overlooking the city, this 4-star hotel is a fantastic choice. Just a 15-minute walk from the conference venue, this is an excellent location for anyone who wants a few extra minutes of shut-eye before an exciting day at ProductCon.

Kimpton Hotel Enso

Situated in the heart of Japantown, Kimpton Enso Hotel offers a sense of minimalist Zen amid the hustle and bustle of the city – ideal for curious travelers who enjoy walkability and getting off the beaten path. With an on-site restaurant and bar as well as a cornucopia of Japanese restaurants and sushi bars, this is a great choice for the foodies among you.

Located in the Mid-Market district, The LINE San Francisco is just a stone’s throw away from great food and cultural offerings and just under one mile from the conference venue. We love this option for its central location, tasty breakfast offerings( including vegetarian and vegan options), as well as their in-room spa services – perfect for unwinding after a busy day networking at ProductCon!

Airbnb 

As the birthplace of Airbnb, our accommodation recommendations wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the online vacation rental platform. Offering a wide range of apartments and guest rooms for all budgets, Airbnb offers thousands of options for your stay in the city. Aside from Japantown, the historic Castro area is a great bet for the foodies among you, as is the Marina District with its wealth of restaurants on Chestnut street.

Our top restaurant recommendations for ProductCon San Francisco

Souvla

Just a 10-minute walk from the ProductCon venue, Souvla’s quick and friendly service makes it a top choice for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner. This modern fast-fine Greek restaurant captures the essence of casual souvlaki joints in Greece, where rotisserie-roasted meats are expertly wrapped in warm, fluffy pita bread alongside seasonal salads and Greek yogurt sauces. Their Greek fries have garnered acclaim on countless "best fry" lists, and their frozen Greek yogurt is a must-try.
