Emily Lautenbach
Product Leader, Amazon
For more than seven years Emily Lautenbach has been working on Product at Amazon. She is currently focused on creating products that improve the shopping experience. Her focus is on the European Union market and worldwide implementation. She started off with the company as a Senior Product Marketing Manager working on growth and customer acquisition for Amazon Canada Consumables.
She later moved to a Senior Vendor Manager Position for Household Consumables. She then went on to lead negotiations for some of the top CPG relationships including Procter and Gamble, Clorox, and Kimberly Clark. She has also worked on the Last Mile Customer Safety and Identity division as a Senior Manager for Product and Engineering.
Before her time at Amazon, she was a part of the team at Walgreens. First as a Merchandise Planning Analyst for their Skin Care department. She was then promoted to Assistant Category Manager for Walgreens.com. After over a year in this role, she was again promoted to Manager of Promotional Strategy and Analytics, working on strategy for email campaigns, on-side landing pages, promotional assets, and the homepage.
Her last role with the company was as a Merchandising Manager for non-health categories for their website. She was in charge of managing key vendor relationships, driving category strategy, leading campaigns, all while managing a team of Senior Analysts.
Emily studied at Michigan State University for her undergraduate degree. She graduated with a Bachelors's in Advertising. Two years later she went on to receive a Masters in Communication from Grand Valley State University.
It is clear to her colleges that Emily truly cares bout her work. She always comes into work with a smile and a positive attitude along with great and innovative ideas. One of her colleagues even considers her to be one of the best analytical-minded pèople out there. She enjoys and is motivated by a challenge and is willing to go above and beyond for her customers and team.
