Mariana Abdala is a seasoned Product Management professional with 15 years of Product experience, specializing in the domains of FinTech, eCommerce, and Venture-backed Tech Startups. Currently, in her role as the VP of Product at Product School, Mariana leads global Product Management training initiatives to empower the next generation of Product Leaders.
In her previous capacity as the Director of Product for Mobile Apps and Design Experience at Williams-Sonoma Inc, she managed an impressive portfolio that included pioneering the native shopping apps, as well as launching innovative features like the 3D Room Planner, and an AR-based product visualizer, both of which were consumer-facing and internally utilized by the interior designers at Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Rejuvenation. Mariana's distinguished career also includes her role as the VP of Product at Splitit, where she skillfully defined the product vision and strategy for B2B credit card payment solutions. At LendingClub, Mariana led the teams responsible for strategic improvements that resulted in substantial reductions in customer data errors and a noteworthy increase in weekly loan issuance. Her portfolio included products like the Authentication Service and the Customer Identification service, which included customer-facing UIs as well as internal services used by the Risk, Compliance, and Data Engineering teams.
Mariana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Rhetoric and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics.
